- Description
- This ruled surface has a wooden frame painted black; six quadrants of cylinders, each of which is formed by threads joining arcs in the frame on two opposite sides; and six wires indicating curves of intersection of two cylindrical quadrants. Three of the wires intersect near one corner, and the other three near the opposite corner. Threads are in blue, yellow, and red.
- A paper tag on the bottom of the model reads: Intersection of cylinders (/) xy = 4, yz=6, zx=8.
