- Description
- Eva Rosich is a trained nurse living in a rural area of Catalonia surrounded by the Pyrenees Mountains. After hearing stories from her patients, she was able to modernize traditional remedies and incorporate them into her practices as a nurse. Her strong connection to nature, along with her knowledge of medicinal tradition compels her to create natural herbal products and medicines that help aid her patients and provide sustainable natural products she can use in her daily routine. At the 2018 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, Rosich led various demonstrations of herbal remedies and DIY projects, passing along her knowledge and increasing awareness of natural healing and cleansing products we can use in our day-to-day lives.
