- Description
- Owney received this advertising token from George Ketchum, a pharmacist who partnered with H.M. Witney in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The store was named for Whitney and located on 297 Essex Street. Ketchum had the token engraved especially for the dog, “Presented to Owney” and included the presentation date of April 25, 1896 at the bottom of the token.
