- Landscape study of winter scene at Church's fram in Hudson, New York. Snow-covered slope in foreground descends to darkened grove of trees in middle distance. Beyond, a partially wooded hill is brightly illuminated by the sunset. Portion of the Hudson River visible at right. In background, mountainous terrain of the Catskills visible while yellow-green twilight sky extends above.
