- Five separate studies float on creamy ground. Upper row center: a tree with red leaves stands in center of meadow with two grazing cows at lower left and green trees in background. The lateral right study shows group of trees with cows grazing lower right; left study,a group of trees. On lower half of sheet, at left, a group of trees in autumn color; at right, a hill sloping down to right behind which is a valley and a hill rising up in rear.
