- Oval shaped teapot with flared sides drawn in plan and elevation, wide lip decorated on the top with a band indicated in yellow color pencil. rounded lid surmounted by a cylindeical finial decorated on either side with a circular boss, continuing in a band along the top of the lid toward handle indicated in brown ink and graphite. C-scroll handle decorated at the top with motif similar to finial indicated in brown ink and graphite. Body with applied reeded band which attaches handle to body. Raised on a tapering base decorated with two applied bands indicated in yellow color pencil. Underdrawing in graphite of teapot in golden section.
