- A girl seated on a bench holds a child in her lap to whom she gives a flower. Blooming trees rise in the background. Written on a tablet on top, in capitals: "BORN.....MDCCCCV"; on a tablet at the bottom: "IF YOUR LIFE BE SHORT / MAKE IT LONG BY KIND / WORDS AND GOOD DEEDS." Framing stripes. Framing brown lines on the cardboard.
