- Description
- A black and white photographic portrait of dancer and choreographer Debbie Allen posing in costume. Allen is pictured center frame, wearing a beaded bikini costume with tail feathers and holding a large feathered fan. She is posed sideways, bent slightly at the waist, holding the large fan with both hands held close to her chest. Her head is tilted backwards and sideways to look at the camera. She is smiling. Behind Allen is a white paper backdrop, with large handwritten words on it, though Allen and the fan obscure most of the writing. The print is signed on the front. The title and date are inscribed beneath the image and on the back of the print.
