- Landscape and meteorological study showing nighttime thunderstorm over the Hudson River Valley, as seen from Long Hill. In lower portion, foreground landscape and mountain silhouette are enshrouded in black. At center, a rose-orange lightning bolt dimly illuminates the landscape and blustery atmosphere. Low clouds intercede between the viewer and the lightning.
