- Summary
- Burchfield writes to his sister Louise and references upcoming plans for Christmas and the untimely deaths of Burchfield's sister, Frances and mother, Alice (they died June 13 and June 23, 1933, respectively).
Burchfield has reproduced a detail of his watercolor Winter bouquet on the front of the folded sheet. He writes that he originally created a woodcut of Winter bouquet but did not feel that it was "Burchfieldesque" enough and he instead made a watercolor. - Citation
