He wears a dark sweater and light colored corduroy pants. He looks at the camera with his mouth slightly open. He is seated in front of a white background with shadows on the wall behind him. The shadows, in either side of Morris, appear to be music stands or other lighting equipment. The image is bordered in a narrow black line from the original negative frame. The image is on a white background. Below the image is hand-written text with the title, date, and artist's signature [Butch Morris - musician - '84'/A. Barboza].
