- Description
This cornet was made by the Boston Musical Instrument Manufactory in Boston, Massachusetts around 1900 to 1904. It is a B-flat/A cornet, Ne Plus Ultra model serial #15523, made of silver plated brass with 3 PĂ©rinet piston valves with mother-of-pearl finger buttons. This cornet is accessioned with a period wooden case covered with black leather lined with purple plush and trimmed with nickel plated brass. The cornet is engraved:
