- Summary
- This boot is part of a pair of boots designed and constructed for the Gemini program. It has the designation G2-C, but is virtually identical to the later G3-C boots that were used for training and Gemini missions.
- The boots were designed to be attached directly to the pressure garment and were attached prior to suit donning. Lacing down the front provided fit, and a zip fastener down the front to aid donning and doffing.
