Artwork documentation includes files sorted by artist of specific artwork provenance details, conservation histories, auction histories, inventory status documents, shipping and loan agreements, and some original letters signed by artists. Exhibition files document shows held at Spanierman Gallery, shows the gallery loaned to, and extensive art fairs and touring exhibitions, with price lists, photographs, exhibition catalogs, inventory documents, correspondence, and loan agreements. Inventory files include extensive stock cards with artwork details and snapshot of the work, often documenting the movement of various works, such as "returned," "out," and "sold." Artist files include scattered research, reviews, some extended projects, notes, and consignment notes about artists. Client and collector files detail those seeking to purchase and sell specific artist's works and include interest cards, consignment agreements, and sales documents with private collectors, museums, and other galleries.
