- Scope and Contents note
- The first album comprises approximately 186 photos of Clark's expedition in 1922-1923 to East Africa (Kenya and northern Tanganyika). The photos are numbered but not labeled, suggesting that a list keyed to the photo numbers was prepared. The second and third set of photos cover the O'Donnell-Clark expedition to the Sudan in 1931. The photos are not numbered or labeled. There are about 800 photos. Each page of the original albums plus cover pages have been inserted into professional photo holders. The photos show country, natives, flora, fauna and some activities. Virtually all photos are crisp and clear.
