- Pitman thanks Carr for the photos of mountain gorilla and asks questions about how/where they were obtained. He assumes the date was 1921. Sending on export permit. Congratulates Carr on "a good shoot" in the west Nile. "That District appears to be the 'Mecca' of all elephant hunters these days and it won't be long before all good or reasonably good bulls are shot out."
