Folder 1 Contains copies of the National Air and Space Museum, Office of the Director Files which deal with the Enola Gay for the years 1986-1990. Includes correspondence dealing with the ownership of the bomb Little Boy, correspondence with the Atomic Library and Technology Foundation on the subject of the Enola Gay Restoration Fund, Enola Gay Restoration updates, general correspondence dealing with the restoration of the airplane, copies of letters sent to the Secretary's office by the public, and a memo dated November 18, 1987 about the possibility of an exhibit on strategic bombing and the Enola Gay. Note: Many of these are photocopies, and the originals of some of them are in Folder 2.
