- Scope and Contents
- This subseries includes slides, negatives and photographic prints taken by the Carters in Arizona and New Mexico between September and October of 1970. This includes slides, negatives and photographic prints in both black and white and color. This trip was a continuation of their previous trip to California in August of 1970. The Carters continued on to Arizona and New Mexico in September collecting artifacts and recording petroglyph sites in Canyon de Chelly, Canyon del Muerto and Painted Desert in Arizona and Window Rock, New Mexico.
