- Mi'kmaq (Micmac) couple Chris and Mary Josephine Morris posed in front of a birchbark wi'kuom (wigwam), which they had just had just finished constructing (NMAI object 17/6513) on the Eskasoni Reserve, Nova Scotia. They are playing "Waltes", a traditional Mi'kmaq game. Mary Josephine Morris is wearing a peaked cap (NMAI object 17/6246) and a jacket and skirt that are part of NMAI object 17/6427. Mary Gould can be seen wearing the same outfit in N19902, N19904, N19908.
