- Outdoor portrait of Mi'kmaq (Micmac) woman Harriet (Joe) Denny, wife of Simon Denny, wearing long dress and ribboned jacket, with beaded peaked cap (NMAI object 17/6426). The same cap is worn by Mary Josephine Morris in N19899 and N19927. She stands in a pasture-like setting, with a fence and wooded hill behind on the Eskasoni Reserve, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Originally cataloged as Mrs. Simon Deny.
