- Scrapbook includes photographs (primarily 8 in. x 10 in.; 11 in. x 14 in.) of Lawrence Steese, Anchor employee, historical images of Rainier Beer employees, Milwaukee Brewery employees, equipment views (mash tank, kegs), employees working with equipment, customers at bar, pouring beer from tap, and a hot air balloon with Anchor Steam Beer logo. Also included is a photograph of "Boots," Matthew Steese, Courtland Mudge, Frances Steese, Lawrence Steese, Fritz Maytag and Al Serbian and images of a twelve foot sculpture titled "The Couple" which Fritz Maytag purchased from artist Ron Boise (1966) and mounted atop the 8th Street brewery. The Anchor Brewery became a sculpture gallery for San Francisco's citywide Spring Mobilization Art Show protesting the war in Vietnam. And an image of a heifer, "Vern Micki," at the Green Gulch Ranch, Sausalito, California (undated).
