- File folder documents the Portreo Commons, a non-profit group who advocated to retain open space and stop further development on Potrero Hill (18th and Arkansas Street) in San Francisco. Materials include the articles of incorporation (1985) for the Starr King Park, a non-profit public benefit corporation established to protect open space; correspondence; environmental review documents; meeting minutes (handwritten); City and County of San Francisco, Department of City Planning documents; copies of the Potrero View; information about McKinley Square Park (Vermont and 20th Streets) in San Francisco; and bank statements for Anchor Brewing Company, Trustee of Potrero Commons. Anchor Brewing Company created a special ale called Potrero Commons Ale and donated its proceeds from the ale to help purchase the Potrero Commons space.
