- Scope and Contents
- Includes a letter dated March 15, 1990. Dr. Bath writes to attorney Michelle N. Lester describing accounts of possible prejudice against Dr. Bath by Dr. Steve Trokel, Dr. Jack Dodick, and Dr. Stephen Obstbaum during her attempts to publish details of her invention in the medical journals The Archives of Opthalmology, The Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and The American Journal of Ophthalmology. Dr. Bath writes that the group did not believe she had achieved the reported experiments because "it can't be done yet." Dr. Bath notes an article published by Dr. Ezra Maguen and Dr. Michael Berlin in July 1989 about a new cataract surgery method which contains possible scientific fraud and misconduct and issues of possibly plagarizing her own invention. File also includes correspondence about patent conflict with Dr. Berlin and letters by Dr. Bath questioning Drs. Maguen and Berlin's 1989 article and research data.
