- General Materials contains images of men's clothing on advertising cards, illustrations and advertisements for clothing stores and manufacturers. There are also unidentified items including receipts, business cards, fabric samples, and business correspondence where the name of the business is illegible or unavailable. Other materials include import and export documents, a list of merchandise (1896), a merchandise receipt (1896) and a parcel receipt (1896). There are a number of forms including an Immediate Transportation in Bond Without Appraisement form (1896), a form from Hampton & Larzelere, Custom House Brokers of Philadelphia (1876), a form "To be endorsed on, or attached by seal and tape to, each of the triplicate invoices" (1876), a notation of "Liquidated Duty" (1876), Receipt (1889), Receipt "for liquidation " (1890), "For Liquidation" (1897), advertisements, a business card, and an advertising coin, and forms for "Free Entry of Articles Intended for use of Colleges, Schools, &c"(1884). Patents for a rolling collar, 1882; a buckle 1883; a trademark for Shirtwaists and Drawers, 1879 and a trademark for shirts, (1882). Materials are arranged by type.
