- ¾" Umatic video (from kinescope), 18 min. Content: Thomas Goldsmith shows viewers around the East Patterson New Jersey DuMont plant, explaining the steps in manufacturing a DuMont "teleset." Includes scenes of the production line – only women are assembling the chassis -- , testing the tubes, installing in cabinets, and packing televisions for shipment. Note the work force is well-integrated. At the start of the video, there is silent footage documenting the exterior of the plant, men working chassis and tubes, a television camera, test patters, and electronic tests. Allen B. Du Mont appears sitting in a Bergen County Police car talking on the telephone.

- Collection is open for research. Gloves must be worn when handling unprotected photographs and negatives. Special arrangements required to view materials in cold storage. Using cold room materials requires a three hour waiting period. Only reference copies of audiovisual materials may be used.
