- Scope and Contents
- The two volumes of registers of letters received, July 1867–June 1868, 1 (192) and 2 (257) are arranged by time period. The entries are arranged alphabetically by initial letter of the surname of the correspondent and thereunder chronologically. Some of the entries (January–February 1868 in volume 1 (192) are duplicated in volume 2 (257). Volume 2 (257) also contains endorsements sent and received, January–May 1868, which are arranged and numbered in chronological order.
