Identified from figure 34 in FMAS, Pub. 103, Volume IX, Number 2. According to Dorsey's account, page 93, nine awl holes (eight around the border and one in the center) were cut in the Buffalo robe; to each of these holes was attached a piece of smoked rabbit skin (symbolic of food in general).
