- This subseries comprises professional and personal correspondence to and from Ralph and Rose Solecki relating to their academic studies in graduate school, their professional work as archaeologists, and during their time at the Smithsonian Institution, Columbia University, Texas A&M University and elsewhere. The subseries also includes correspondence with friends, family, and other anthropologists and scientists. Correspondents represented in this series include colleagues and friends in the field of anthropology; at various institutions with which the Soleckis were affiliated; students, research assistants, and other scholars around the world; and others. Some correspondence can be found within Series 1-5 if it could be definitively tied to a certain field work location or project. Some of the correspondents represented within this subseries can be found in other subseries.
