- Manuscript message and address on verso, message reads: "Chers Parents, j'ai reçu une carte de Léon, vous ne perdez rien car le temps est exécrable. Je vous attendrai donc jeudi matin gare du Midi. Il n'y a aucun dérangement, j'ai liquidé en prévision de votre arrivée toute mes positions de bourse donc nous sommes libres. Amitiés à Léon." Translated message reads: "Dear Parents, I have received a card from Léon, you are not missing anything and the weather here is awful. So I shall expect you thursday at South Station. No trouble at all. I settled all my stock exchange positions in the expectation of your arrival. We are therefore free, greetings to Léon."
