Très chers maman, Antoine et Josée, Hier nous avons reçu un petit colis de vous avec la belle boite de dragées. Elle est vraiment jolie et vous nous avez gatés. Merci beaucoup pour cela. Cela nous a bien fait plaisir. Nous espérons que vous allez toujours bien. Ici tout va pour le mieux et nous pensons à vous. Encore bien merci et recevez nos gros baisers." Translated message reads, "Elisabethville, May 14 1952. Dear Mother, Antoine and Josée, We received yesterday a small package from you containing the beautiful box of sugared almonds given away on the occasion of baptising. It is really very nice and you have spoiled us. Thank you very much. It really pleased us. We hope you are still well. Here everything is fine and we think about you. Many thanks again and fat kisses."
