- Printed caption on recto reads: "Drie jongens uit Wombali." Translated caption reads: "Three young ones from Wombali."
- Manuscript message and address on verso, message reads: "Quelle coincidence! Translated message reads, "What a coincidence! At the very time I was attending a conference lecture by prince Sixte de Bourbon relating a travel from Algers to Chad, I was receiving that evening the postcards from your beautiful travel, judging from the cards' pictures must have been very interesting. I have been this summer to the Congo all the way to Brazzaville in the French Congo, from which I sent you cards. I have been happy to receive news from you and your husband about whom I had known nothing since your visit to Brussels. Greetings to both of you."
