J'ai eu samedi la visite d'Anne-Marie et de Stan, c'était une vraie surprise car on ne m'avait pas prévenu. Anne est à Westende chez les Moons puis elle vient ici pour quelques jours puis elle va chez tante Xavier(?), tu comprends que je suis contente. Tante viendra aussi bientôt me voir car elle m'a écrit pour savoir que j'avais pour le salon. Pour le moment mon oncle Fernand est chez elle. Aurevoir je n'ai pas le temps de t'écrire davantage. Mille baisers." Translated message reads, " Dear Poussy, I thank you for your last card which pleased me a lot. I have had the visit Saturday of Anne-Marie and Stan. It was a big surprise as I had not been told. Anne is in Westende at the Moons then she comes here for a few days, then she goes to Aunt Xavier(?). You understand how happy I am. Auntie will also come to see me soon because she wrote to me to find out what I had for the living room. For the time my uncle Ferdinand is staying with her. Bye, I do not have the time to write at great length. A thousand kisses."
