Scope and Contents
Translated postcard caption reads, "Killed snake in the forest." Printed text on verso reads: "Mwilambongo. Mission des Sœurs de Saint François de Sales. Serpent tué dans la forêt." Publisher's logo on verso: "Nels."
Postmarked postage stamp on verso. Quand a lieu votre retraite? Soeur Marie-Henriette." Translated message reads, " Mr Fauville's reply concerning your project was rather unfavourable and we are not planning to insist any longer. I therefore ask you not to send your other courses; do you wish me to send back to you the ones I have? I do not doubt that your vacation has been very comforting for all standpoint of view. When is your retreat due? Ours will be held from 16 to 23. Let us remain united in prayer, my dear sisters, I kiss you affectionately. I do not know what Sister Marie-Fabienne is going to do; most likely the same as me. This August 3, 1931."
