- Traditional folk fiddling from Sweden - 1st song: "En vallat", reflective tune from the mountains. - 2nd song: "Polska", dance tune. - 3rd song: Ordinary march tune (100 years old). - 4th song: "Hambo-polska", played by fiddlers in the old Swedish style (Hambo is a popular Swedish dance that can take various forms). - 5th song: "Vallat fran Hälsingland", pastoral tune played on the Shepherd's Flute. - 6th song: Other "Polska", dance tune. - 7th song: "Springlek" (Running game). Ancient rhythmic tune played in i time in the western part of Dalarna, Sweden. In Norwey, the tune is called "Springar". - 8th song: "To the Mountain Farms & the Joy of Summer", walking tune (ganglat) from the last century. - Introduction to the traditional folk fiddling from Finland (but the recording ends before the songs start)
