- Scope and Contents note
- Harold Weston served as president for the Federation of Modern Painters and Sculptors in the 1950s and remained a member into the 1960s. Filed here are audio recordings and other documentation of "An Evening with Louise Nevelson," February 28th, 1967; clippings and other printed materials; scattered correspondence; membership and meetings information; materials relating to the Museum Gift Plan; and documents relating to the history of the association. Also found are Weston's notes taken during a discussion on sculptors by sculptors in 1954. Sculptors present during the discussion include: Caparn, Harkavy, Kekakis, Model, Nevelson, Simkhovitch, Stillman, Vargis, Weschler, and Wingate.
