- Scope and Contents
- Inventory files primarily consist of inventory stock cards, which include polaroid snapshots of an artwork and handwritten information about the artwork, such as dimensions, media, description, inventory number, and whether a signature is included. Cards are generally filed alphabetically by artist and were kept separately in discarded metal card drawers as "Returned" and "Sold." Additional smaller sets of inventory cards are included for "frames," "out," "sculpture," "sold 1966-1967," and two sets of miscellaneous stock cards. Four files of inventory pages removed from binders for artists J-Z are also included, as well as an inventory ledger for works acquired 1969 to 1987. Some inventory cards or copies of cards can be found among artwork documentation files or artist files, as well.
