- Scope and Contents
- Artist files contain a range of documentation about various artists, including research, auction price tracking, reviews, notes, scattered collector and consignment documentation, and some material related to extended projects. Among the more extensive are artist files for Gershon Benjamin, Thomas Wilmer Dewing, and Burgoyne Diller. Some files may include appraisal and condition reports, estate correspondence and inventories, and scattered exhibition and catalog planning. Also found, is one clippings scrapbook for Robert Emmett Owen.

- This collection is open for research. Access to original papers requires an appointment and is limited to the Archives' Washington, D.C. Research Center.
