- This series is comprised primarily of photographs of artwork in Perls Galleries', including installation views and the occasional letter. Photographs of inventory are arranged in two groups: Artwork and Objects Sold, both arranged alphabetically by artist, geographical region, or tribe, and then by stock number. The index cards described at the end of Series 2 can provide stock number access to the photographs. Dates provided on the folders refer to the dates of the artwork depicted in each image rather than to the dates the photographes were taken.
- Collection Restrictions
- This collection, with the exception of Series 2, is open for research. Access to original papers requires an appointment and is limited to the Archives' Washington, D.C. Research Center. Series 2: Negatives, is temporarily closed to researchers due to archival processing and digitization. Contact Reference Services for more information.
