- Figural scene; within a partially roofed-over stable is the scene from the Nativity of the Three Magi paying homage to the Christ Child, held by the Virgin Mary at left. Figure of Joseph behind her. At right, the Magi in elaborate dress and coats present gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The interior setting and the flesh of the figures is painted in gouache, the clothing is rendered in applied cloth.
