Lily Emmet Cushing (1909-1969) painter from New York, N.Y. Born in Newport, R.I. Cushing's father was Howard Gardiner Cushing.
Provenance
The Lily Emmet Cushing papers were donated in 1972 by the artist's daughters Alexandra Emmet Schlesinger and Lily Emmet West.
