Smithsonian’s National Zoo visitors will have the opportunity to find gifts for family and friends at GRUMP, a European-style outdoor market, Dec. 7, 8 and 9 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. during ZooLights, powered by Pepco.

Located near the Zoo’s Connecticut Avenue entrance, this alternative art and crafts holiday market features gifts for all ages made by more than 40 local artists. Unique and quirky finds include handmade clothing, jewelry and toys as well as inventive home décor made from upcycled materials. Shoppers will also find letterpress cards, prints, hand-bound books, glass art, sweet treats, DIY kits and more.

Featured artists vary each night, and visitors are encouraged to check out this free event throughout the weekend to fill all of their holiday shopping needs. For more information about this event and to view a full list of participating artists, visit the Zoo’s website.
