The celebrated Earthrise photograph, taken during NASA’s Apollo 8 mission on December 24, 1968, will be featured in the exhibition’s display alongside the words of American astronomer, Carl Sagan: “Preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.”
