Official YMCA letter gratefully acknowledging Ethel Ash’s work in France, 1919

Upon her return home to Iowa, Ethel Ash received this December 5, 1919, letter from Mrs. B. F. Langworthy, Acting Chairman of the YMCA’s National War Work Council, in recognition for her service in France: “I want to tell you how warmly we appreciate the splendid service that you have given to the Y.M.C.A. and our boys in Europe.”
