The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian screens Moroni for President, which follows Moroni Benally, a young, gay Mormon in a bid to become president of the Navajo Nation, at its Native Cinema Showcase Thursday, Aug. 16, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
