In changing display cases, the Archives Center features items from the museum's archival collection that document America's history and its diverse cultures, ranging from correspondences, diaries, financial and legal documents, photographs, and sound recordings.

- View From Up North: Americans Experience Mexico, circa 1890-1945
In several cases are artifacts that show how Americans have experienced Mexico from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s, including bullfight tickets, paper dolls inspired by President Franklin D. Roosevelt's "Good Neighbor" policy, and postcards and photographs depicting Mexican revolutionaries.
