This exhibition, circulated by SITES, traces the evolution of contemporary approaches to pottery in the Southeast regions of the U.S. Many of the approximately 110 pieces on view are from family pottery operations, which have existed for generations.

Potters include Cleater and Edwin Meaders, Burlon Craig, Bybee, Cole, and others. Jerry Brown and Gerald Steward, included in the exhibition, are both represented in the 1984 Festival of American Folklife, Folklore/Aging area.
