Elizabeth Kay's painting (1992) Santo Pinhole honors photographer Ansel Adams, (1902-1984) and his contribution to modern photography. The painting is based on a New Mexican retablo, a religious painting on a wooden panel honoring a saint. Also on view are Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, 1941 by Ansel Adams, a photographic portrait of Adams by Imogen Cunningham, and Edward Weston's (1886-1958) tripod and camera.
