See 2 significant purchases now on view:  Woman Before an Eclipse with her Hair Disheveled by the Wind, painted by Joan Miro in 1967, epitomizes the mature style of this 88-year-old Spanish artist, evoking a figure in bold areas of black and bright colors.

Standing Woman (Heroic Woman), a seven-foot bronze cast of a sculpture by Gaston Lachaise in 1932 is considered among the finest achievements of this French-Born American artist (1882-1935).
