On view is a selection of 78 gold and platinum nuggets and rare crystalline gold from 8 foreign countries and the U.S. Recently acquired by MNH, the crystalline pieces rank among the world's finest. The centerpiece of the exhibit includes 4 examples of crystalline gold, one 13 inches long, weight 57 ounces. Other specimens of gold are from northern Virginia and Montgomery County, Maryland.
