This photography exhibition highlights the experiences of 25 Latino achievers—Nobel laureates, scientists, artists, athletes, entrepreneur, politicians, community activists, and ordinary people from all walks of life—and their contributions to American society in all fields of endeavor. Also, oral histories and dichos (traditional sayings) are used to tell the stories of these individuals, including astronaut Ellen Ochoa, labor leader Dolores Huerta, and artist Pepon Osorio. Photographs are by Celia Alvarez Munoz of Arlington, Texas; Luis Mallo, a New York-based Cuban-American; and Hector Mendez Caratini, a native of Puerto Rico.
